BTS Jimin's Military Enlistment and Return Date

Departure and Enlistment

In accordance with South Korea's mandatory military service, BTS member Jimin enlisted on December 12, 2023. He joined the 36th Homeland Defense Infantry Division of the South Korean Army as part of his military service.

Projected Discharge Date

June 2025

Jimin is expected to complete his military service and discharge in June 2025. This discharge date was estimated based on the typical duration of military service, which is approximately 18-21 months.

BTS Members' Military Service

Jimin is not the only BTS member to fulfill his military obligation. In 2022 and 2023, other BTS members departed on staggered dates for military service. The discharge dates for these members are as follows:
