Katy Perry has announced the release of her sixth studio album, titled "Smile." The album is set to be released on August 28, 2020, via Capitol Records.
Perry's First New Album Since "Witness"
"Smile" will be Perry's first new album since "Witness," which was released in 2017. "Witness" received mixed reviews from critics, but it spawned several hit singles, including "Chained to the Rhythm" and "Bon Appétit." Perry has said that "Smile" is a more upbeat and optimistic album than "Witness."
